KOCHI: The body of a woman who went missing the other day was found in the backwaters near the Vallarpadam railway bridge on Monday. The deceased is Christeena(46), wife of Puthen Chackalakkal Sony who hails from South Puthuvype. Christeena had gone missing on Friday afternoon.

Christeena, who had been working in a private hospital in Ernakulam, was temporarily excluded from her job due to the coronavirus crisis. It is learnt that she might have committed suicide because of this. Earlier, a search was conducted in the backwaters based on information from witnesses.
