THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Brother of Swapna Suresh, main accused in the gold smuggling case, has come forward with a revelation against her. Her elder brother Bright Suresh who is in the USA said that she has not even passed the tenth class. He said that she had threatened to trap him in a fake case.

He told a media that she may have got the job in the consulate through her high influence. He said that he fears that she would harm him if he comes to India.

The investigating team has intensified a search to find her who is on the run. Meantime, a woman has been taken into custody in connection with the gold smuggling case. Wife of Sandeep Nair, aide of Sarith, and owner of Carbon Doctor, has been taken into custody and the customs are questioning him. Swapna and Sarith are suspected to have a partnership in it.

The customs are of the review now that there has been serious protocol violations from the side of the UAE Consulate General. An official of the Consulate will inform this to the foreign affairs ministry.
