THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Secretary Vishwas Mehta tested negative for COVID-19. He was in the contact list of his driver who tested positive for the virus.

Chief Secretary's driver, a 40-year-old who is a native of Vengodu in Vattappara, earlier tested positive for COVID-19. He had worked with Chief Secretary till June 4. So, Chief Secretary was among the primary contacts. Chief Minister, Health Minister, and the DGP was included in the secondary contact list.
