THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP State president K Surendran has lashed out at Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan over the gold smuggling case. He said the chief minister should clarify how Swapna left Kerala and fled to Bengaluru, breaching triple lockdown rules.
“How could the police, who usually block commoners, allow Swapna to go? Soon after the audio-clip of Swapna came out, the public very well understood the persons who were protecting her,” he wrote on his Facebook page. Surendran has also congratulated the NIA for arresting the accused within 48 hours.
He put up the post soon after Swapna and Suresh were arrested by NIA sleuths from Bengaluru.
