THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Customs department on Saturday conducted a raid at M Sivasankar's flat in Thiruvananthapuram.

It is learnt that the customs team have seized crucial CCTV footage, camera hard disk, and visitors' register from the former IT secretary's flat.

Reports also suggest that Sivasankar will be soon questioned in connection with the gold smuggling case.

The customs team that had reached Sivasankar's flat near the Secretariat had also collected statements from the caretaker of the flat.
