THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: 30 new hotspots were declared in the state on Sunday. Three places were removed from the list of hotspots. Currently, there are 222 hotspots in Kerala.
New hotspots:
Ernakulam: Elamkunnappuzha (containment zone: ward 14,15 Kalamukku Market), Muvattuppuzha Municipality (1, 28 Pezhakkappilly Market), Kumbalangi (5, 9), Kalamassery Municipality (36), Thiruvaniyoor (6), Rayamangalam (13,14), Kavalangadu (11)
Kasaragod: Beloor (11), Kallar (3), Panathadi (11), Kaiyoor Chimeni (11)
Kannur: Malappattam (5), Payam (2), Anjarakkandi (9), Mangattidam (17)
Pathanamthitta: Kalluppara (13), Malayalappuzha (3, 11), Kottangal
Palakkad: Nellaya (11), Kollengode (2), Vallappuzha (5, 13, 16)
Kozhikode: Nadapuram (all wards), Thuneri
Thrissur: Arimboor (5), Athirappally (4)
Alappuzha: Cherthala taluk (entire taluk), Ramankary (9)
Wayanad: Pulppally (all wards), Poothadi (4, 5)
Kottayam: Aymanam (6)
