KOTTAYAM: The Kottayam Additional District Court on Monday cancelled the bail of Franco Mulakkal, a bishop accused of sexually abusing a nun. The bail was cancelled as Bishop Franco failed to appear for court hearing multiple times. The court has also issued a non-bailable warrant against the accused.

The court observed that Bishop Franco had failed to appear for Court hearing 14 times. The court also ordered to file separate cases against two of the sureties of the accused.
