THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Recent reports claim that chief minister's former principal secretary M Sivasankar is likely to be arrested in connection with the Thiruvananthapuram gold smuggling case. It is learnt that his arrest will be made after taking him to Kochi.


The questioning, which began at evening 5 pm at the Customs office in Thiruvananthapuram, has been going on for more than 9 hours. The officials have apparently obtained crucial evidence such as CCTV footage and phone documents against Sivasankar. Reports also claim that Sivasankar has given contradictory answers to many of the questions.
