THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The customs are conducting a search at the Kerala State Information Technology Infrastructure Limited (KSITIL) which is in charge of Space Park where Swapna Suresh had been working. She was working as the operations manager in Space Park. It was mentioned earlier that she got the job after producing a fake certificate. Reports said the customs are searching for more evidences. It has to be clarified whether the then IT secretary Sivasankar helped her in getting the job.

The customs are also conducting a search at Sivasankar’s flat and some jewellery shops in Kozhikode. The customs examined the visitors’ register of Sivasankar’s flat and is believed to have obtained some evidences from there.

Sivasankar was grilled for nearly nine hours yesterday. The IAS officer had told the team that his relationship with Swapna Suresh is just a friendly one. He also told them that it was Swapna who introduced Sarith to him. He said that he had never intervened in anything misusing his official post. Sivasankar said that he doesn’t know Sandeep Nair. He also mentioned that he was not aware that the accused had other businesses. Meantime, the customs are examining the details of his statements. The customs said that they have not given a clean chit to Sivasankar.
