THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Swapna Suresh was in the capital city on the day the gold was seized at the Thiruvananthapuram Airport. Her phone records hint that she was within the limits of the controversial flat’s tower. However, the phone records of Sandeep and Sarith have not been disclosed.

It has been hinted that she was in the flat on July 5. From 9 am to 12.20 pm she was in the tower of Hilton Inn Punnen Road near the flat. Sandeep and Sarith were with her at that time.

The investigating officials suspect that the conspiracy in the gold smuggling case was hatched in Hyder Heights, near the secretariat.

It was Sivasankar who helped them in getting the flat for rent near the secretariat. Sivasankar sought the help of Arun Balachandran, former IT Fellow of the chief minister, to take the flat for rent.

Sivasankar has a flat on the sixth floor here. The office of Rebuild Kerala is also functioning here. A probe is progressing on those who have stayed in Hilton Hotel, opposite to the flat, on July 1st and 2nd.

Meantime, a top official of UAE Consulate had called Swapna on the day the gold was seized. Swapna received the calls thrice from the phone used by consul general. She had also received calls from attaché’s phone days before the gold was seized.
