THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sarith’s advocate Kesari Krishnan Nair has made an important revelation in the gold smuggling case.

According to him, before fleeing to Bangalore, Swapna reached Sarith’s house. She went there soon after the Customs raided his house.

“After Sarith’s arrest, I accompanied Swapna to his house as she had also invited me. Swapna’s husband and children were also with her. I came to know about the raid only when I reached the house. Swapna hugged his mother and consoled his parents, saying that she will bring back her son,” he revealed.

Meanwhile, the DGP has sent a letter to the NIA, offering all support from the side of Kerala police, in the investigation.
