Two heads in the Kerala government’s IT department have rolled following the busting of gold smuggling racket in Thiruvananthapuram. They are former IT secretary M Sivasankar and contract employee Swapna Suresh.

Now, the reports say that investigation against the chief minister’s former IT fellow Arun Balachandran is also being tightened.

As the chief minister’s office is under fire over the Swapna case, Congress leaders like Jyothikumar Chamakkala have started making scathing attacks on the chief minister through their Facebook posts.

He says that when demand for the ousting of Swapna and Shivashankar was made, the chief minister tried to give some lame excuses for not taking action. But finally the Opposition laid bare the lies told by the chief minister.

“This not the end. Much earlier, we were convinced that former IT fellow of the chief minister Arun Balachandran was a mere dirty fellow.

Still, there are many such dirty fellows in the chief minister’s own IT department. Let the facts come out one by one…
