THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sandeep Nair, one of the prime accused in the Thiruvananthapuram gold smuggling case, has said that he has complete faith in the National Investigation Agency (NIA). He was responding to the media after being brought to Thiruvananthapuram for evidence collection. However, he refused to respond on whether he was trapped by anyone.
Sandeep was taken to three flats in Thiruvananthapuram and his house in Aruvikkara by the NIA team on Saturday. Meanwhile, another accused Swapna Suresh was taken to her flat in Ambalamukku. It is learnt that the NIA is currently questioning both the accused at the Police Club in Peroorkada. Reports also suggest that the customs department has completed the raids at Sandeep's office.
