THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A decision has been taken to convene the LDF meet next week. The meet will discuss the gold smuggling, Price Water House Coopers controversy etc. The decision was taken to convene the meet following the communication between the CPM and the CPI. The CPI is unhappy over the stewing controversy. CPI assistant secretary Prakash Babu expressed displeasure over the controversy in party’s mouthpiece yesterday. There are indications that there will be arguments on consultancy agreements at the meeting.
In the meantime, the CPM has called a meet of all personal staff members of their ministers. The meet will be convened on Thursday. The decision is to make strict the code of conduct for all personal staff members. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan will attend the meet. With the election approaching, the party is taking the unusual step of convening a meeting of personal staff members.
