THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The license of noted textile shops like Pothys and Ramchandran Textiles has been cancelled for violating COVID protocol, said Thiruvananthapuram Corporation Mayor K Sreekumar. These shops increased the risk of transmission of the disease in the city.

Though the two shops were directed to strictly adhere to COVID protocol, they rejected it. So hundreds of employees contracted the disease in Ramachandrans. The customers who visited the shop are likely to contract the disease. Pothys also violated the warnings of the corporation. The mayor informed this via social media.
