KOTTAYAM: One more COVID-19 death in Kerala. The dead has been identified as Narayanan aged 74, a native of Ayyappancovil in Idukki. He was confirmed of the virus yesterday. The victim was first admitted at Idukki Medical College and when his condition turned worse was shifted to Kottayam Medical College Hospital.

Narayanan along with his son reached Kerala from Theni on June 16. The two reached through a secret way and were in quarantine at their house. Though health activists reached on information from the special branch, the two were not willing to undergo COVID tests. Their swab samples were taken forcefully and sent for examination. The two were shifted to Idukki Medical College following confirmation of the virus.
