KOZHIKODE: Soon after two students who wrote KEAM entrance exam in Thiruvananthapuram were confirmed of COVID-19, another student who wrote the same exam in Kozhikode also tested positive for the virus. The student, a native of Olavanna, who wrote the exam in Malabar Christian College was confirmed of the virus. The student’s father also tested positive. He was abroad and reached the state in March. From where they contracted the disease is unknown. Other students who wrote the exam with the student have been asked to go into quarantine.
Two students who wrote the exam in Thiruvananthapuram were confirmed of the virus today. One parent has also contracted the disease. The virus was confirmed on the student from Pozhiyoor who wrote the exam in Thycaud and a native of Karakulam who wrote the exam in Karamana. The parent confirmed of the virus is a native of Manacaud and came to the exam centre in Cotton High School.
