KOCHI: The Kerala High Court Wednesday rejected the plea seeking probe against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the gold smuggling case. The plea was dismissed by a division bench comprising the Chief Justice.
The plea was filed by Michael Varghese, a native of Cherthala. The plea demanded a probe on the Sprinklr deal and the gold smuggling. The case is being probed by the NIA and asserted that the investigating team can examine all sides of it.
With that, the court said they don’t intend to intervene in the case at this stage. The centre had informed the high court about the NIA probe in the gold smuggling case.
