THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: One more student who wrote KEAM entrance exam has been confirmed of COVID-19. The 17-year-old student wrote the exam in St Antony’s School in Valiyathura. With this, five students have been tested positive. Two students in Thiruvananthapuram and one in Kozhikode were confirmed of the virus yesterday.
A native of Anchal in Kollam who wrote the exam in Kaimanam Mannam Memorial School in the capital city was also confirmed of the virus. The girl’s mother and relative who travelled with her tested negative. The girl is under treatment from July 19. However, the health department was criticised for concealing it. A parent who brought her child to write the exam in Cotton Hill School too tested positive yesterday.
