THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Only on Monday, it will be known whether Kerala will go for a complete lockdown. A decision on important matters including complete lockdown will be taken in the special Assembly meeting to be held on the day. Earlier decision was to hold the meeting today (Thursday).
Meanwhile, it has been decided to postpone the special Assembly session scheduled for Monday to pass the financial bill. This decision was taken in the wake of Covid spread in Thiruvananthapuram as well as in other districts.
By the way, the Opposition on Thursday morning gave the notice for non-confidence motion against the government in the wake of the allegation that the chief minister’s office also had a role in the gold smuggling case.
Now, the Opposition’s allegation is that the government has postponed the special Assembly meeting to escape from the embarrassment of non-confidence motion.
