KOCHI: M Sivasankar has no links with the gold smuggling case, his advocate S Rajeev said. He told the media he is sure that Sivasankar has not committed any wrongdoings.

UAPA won't possibly stand in court. Sarith's statement is not against Sivasankar, the advocate said.

"There is absolute trust in NIA. The investigation is going in the right direction. Sivasankar has nothing to hide", he said.

The NIA will quiz Sivasankar tomorrow as well. A notice regarding this was handed over to him. Sivasankar is staying in Kochi. NIA questioned him from 10 am in the morning till night. Along with the probing officers in Kochi, NIA South India head KB Vandana and other NIA officers from Bengaluru was part of the interrogation.
