KOLLAM: Achalummood police arrested a 20-yr-old youth for allegedly sexually abusing her and impregnating her after posing as her lover.

The arrested youth is Thrikkadavoor Kureeppuzha Velikkettu house resident Aron.

The girl had gone to a private hospital in Kollam after she showed symptoms of some other diseases. It was the hospital authorities who informed the police after the minor girl was found be pregnant.

Soon the police started the investigation and filed a case under POSCO. Aron was subsequently arrested and produced in the court. He was remanded later.
