Hibi Eden MP thanked actor Dulquer Salmaan for the unexpected gift presented to Vinayak, who attained good marks in CBSE class 12. The MP thanked him via a Facebook post. The actor presented a smartphone to Vinayak. The MP mentioned in his post that Dulquer did not forget to congratulate Vinayak while presenting the gift. Vinayak also got a call from the Prime Minister congratulating him for the win.

Vinayak was a Class XII student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Neriamangalam.

His post said

Dulquer Salmaan presented a new model smartphone to Vinayak, a native of Thodupuzha, for his stupendous success in Class XII. The actor also congratulated Vinayak via phone. He emerged the top scorer in commerce stream in the Kerala region with 493/500 marks. The Prime Minister directly congratulated him for being the top scorer. Their phone conversation was telecasted in the Prime Minister’s radio programme Mann Ki Baat.
