KOCHI: One more COVID-19 death in Kerala. 53-year-old M P Ashraf of Mallisseri died of the disease. He was under treatment at the Ernakulam Medical College. It is not sure whether he had any other illnesses. With his death, a total of 71 people have lost their lives due to COVID.

506 tested positive of the virus in the state yesterday. 794 have been cured of the disease. As the server developed a technical snag, the results which came later could not be loaded in the web portal of the health department. So the number was not correct. There are 375 contact patients. The source of 29 is still unknown. 37 health workers too contracted the disease.
