IDUKKI: The heavy rain lashing Idukki has led to landslides in various parts of the district. It is learnt that Kozhikanam and Annan Thampi Hills experienced severe landslide following the heavy rain.

Meanwhile, two youths went missing on Thursday evening after their car got washed away by the flash flood at Nallathanni. They are Martin and Aneesh, both hailing from Nallathanni.

The authorities have imposed a travel ban in the district following heavy rain.

"Night travel ban is in place in Idukki due to heavy rains. The Munnar-Marayoor road is already closed.

The district administration has also blocked the Idukki-Kattappana National Highway," SDMA said.
