NEW DELHI: The Civil Aviation Ministry on Friday night ordered for a detailed inquiry regarding the crashlanding of the Air India Express plane at the Kozhikode airport. The accident took place at around 8.20 pm when the flight overshot the runway and crash-landed.

The flight carried 191 people including six crew members. It has been confirmed that 5 people, including the pilot, were killed in the mishap.
