The Air India Express Flight IX-1344, carrying 184 people, including passengers and crew from Dubai, broke up into two pieces after skidding off the tabletop runway of Karipur airport amid heavy rain and went tumbling down a valley at 7.41 pm on Friday. At least 18 people, including both pilots, were killed and 127 others were injured.
