THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala recorded the highest single-day spike in COVID cases on Saturday, but at the same time 1,715 patients tested negative for the virus, which is a relief in these difficult times.
The rising number of COVID cases is still a concern and what's even more alarming is the number of cases through contact, which is 1216 on Saturday. Four deaths were reported in the state today. The deceased are Kasargod native Vinod Kumar, Kozhikode Vellikulangara native Sulaikha, Kollam native Chellappan and Alappuzha native Purushothaman.
