THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: One more person has died of COVID-19 in Kerala. The deceased has been identified as Thiruvananthapuram Venjarumoodu native Basheer (44) who died on Friday. He was also suffering from kidney disease. With this, the number of COVID deaths in the state has reached 139.
Meanwhile, the state has been witnessing a surge in the COVID cases. 1569 persons tested positive for the virus on Friday.
