THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: More relaxations have been announced on the restrictions imposed in the capital city following transmission of the virus. Critical zones of the coastal areas have made containment zones. Permission has been given for offices to function. Shops can open from 7 am to 4 pm. Permission has been granted for fishing with restrictions. Reports said the easing of restrictions is reportedly due to a decline in the number of patients in coastal areas.

The lockdown in the city was withdrawn the other day. Gym, barber shop and hotels can function. Parcel business permitted in bars. 50 people can attend a marriage. The lockdown was announced on July 6.

In the meanwhile, the number of cases are increasing day by day in the state. Yesterday 321 tested positive.
