KOCHI: One more person died of COVID-19 in Kerala today. The dead has been identified as Ahammadunni, a native of Aduvasseri in Ernakulam. He was 65. He died at the Kalamassery Medical College. With this, seven have died of the virus in the state today.
Natives of Kasargod, Malappuram, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Pathanamthitta and Kozhikode are those dead.
Thankamma (78), a native of Aroor in Alappuzha died here today. She died early this morning while undergoing treatment at Alappuzha Vandanam Medical College. The authorities of the health department said she was a diabetic and had some old age ailments.
Kunjimoideen (65) of Karuvambram in Malappuram died at the Manjeri Medical College Hospital.
P Vijayakumar, a native of Eyyakkadu in Thrikkaripur died while undergoing treatment at the Pariyaram Medical College. He was a native of Kasargod. He was in the ventilator for days following severe breathing problems. Three of his family were earlier confirmed of the virus.
P N Chandran of Vadavathur in Kottayam died of the virus. He was undergoing treatment at Kottayam Medical College Hospital.
Purushothaman, a native of Pramadam died in Pathanamthitta.
Muhammed Basheer, a native of Mavoor died in in Kozhikode.
