THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CBI team, investigating into the accident that led to the death of violinist Balabhaskar, has recorded the statement of Balabhaskar's relative Priya Venugopal. It was Priya who alleged mystery regarding the death of Balabhaskar. The CBI has also asked Balabhaskar's friend Prakash Thampi, who is also an accused in the gold smuggling case, to appear for questioning on Saturday. Earlier, the CBI had recorded the statement of Balabhaskar's wife in connection with the investigation.
