THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Responding to Thiruvananthapuram airport controversy, CPI (M) state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said he was unaware that KSIDC has ties with Adani.

"The institution should have backed off voluntarily. Congress is having double standards. The new controversies are to help Adani. Under no circumstance we will give the authority of the airport to Adani", Balakrishnan said.

Meanwhile, minister EP Jayarajan said the institution hid its ties with Adani and the government is not at fault. Further measures will be taken, he added.
