WAYANAD: One more COVID-19 death in Kerala. The dead has been identified as Safiya of Tharuvana in Wayanad. She was 60. She was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kozhikode.

Five COVID deaths were confirmed in the state yesterday. The test results of Sisupalan (80), native of Gandhipuram in the capital city who died on August 19, Shanawas (49) of Poojappura, Damodaran (80) of Edavarad in Kozhikode, Dinamani (75) of Anchal and Robert (75) of Chetticaud in Alappuzha who died on August 14 confirmed of the virus.
