NEW DELHI: The police caught a youth found roaming around in mysterious circumstances near the premises of the Parliament. Paper pieces with secret codes were seized from him by the police.

The youth, who was sitting on the lawn near the Parliament, was initially interrogated by CRPF jawans. Licence and Aadhaar card were found from his bag. Both the identity proofs carried different names and pieces of paper with secret code added fuel to the mystery, the police said.

The youth told the police that he is a native of Budgam in Jammu. The Delhi police are interrogating him. The police made it clear that there is incompatibility in his reply. His replies are contrary to the facts, said the investigating officers.

At the inception of the interrogation, the man said that he reached Delhi in 2016 and later said he reached Delhi during the lockdown period. The youth also told that he had stayed in Jamia Nagar, Nizamuddin and old Delhi, said the investigation team.
