NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Thursday moved the SNC Lavalin case to a new bench. The case will be considered by the two-judge bench comprising Justices UU Lalit and Vineeth Saran. Till now, the case was considered by a bench headed by Justice NV Ramana. The financial scandal related to a hydroelectric infrastructure contract between the Kerala Government and the Canadian company SNC Lavalin came into light in 1995. Several persons including present Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan were named as accused in the case.
