RAJAKKAD: Two men were arrested in Rajakkad for uploading the nude pictures of a girl on the internet on Wednesday. The arrested persons are Mukkudi Chimminikkadu native Binu Benny (24) and Mukkudi Dam Site Vazheparambil native Prabhath Prakash (20). The arrest was carried out by a police team led by Rajakkad CI H L Honey and SI Anoop Mon.

The girl came to know about the trap after one person who got the picture on his Whatsapp told her parents. The arrest followed after the parents lodged a complaint with Rajakkad police..

According to the police, her ex-lover had received her nude photos through Whatsapp during her school days. He later started circulating the pictures via Whatsapp without her knowledge.

The accused were booked under POCSO act, produced in the court later and remanded.
