Sushant Singh Rajput was deeply upset on the “Me Too” allegations raised against him and for not getting an award, though his exemplary acting skills deserved a recognition, said his lover and actress Rhea Chakraborthy. She revealed these matters in an interview with a national media.
Sushant’s name was dragged in Me Too allegation in 2018. It was alleged that he had misbehaved with his co-actor Sanjana in the location of the movie ‘Dil Bechara’. Rhea felt that Sushant seemed to be pressurised after this allegation. He strongly believed the allegation to be a ploy of someone and used to address them as ‘they’. “I don’t have no clue about who ‘they’ are, Rhea Chakraborthy said.
The film industry is a tough field. We will have to face frequent ups and downs. Some incidents had drastic effect on Sushant’s mental health. One of such incidents includes the “Me Too” allegation. Sushant was not such a kind of a person, he was a respectful gentleman. Sushant’s co-actor Sanjana Sanghi is not denying the allegation. He thought it was part of a larger plot by his friend, Rohini Iyer. “I have communicated these matters with the police and the enforcement director” Rhea said. The actress added that Sushant was disturbed for not nominating him for any awards, in spite of his commendable performances.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment. The police said it was a suicide. Many including Sushant’s lover and actress Rhea Chakraborthy were interrogated by the police in connection with the actor’s death.
