KOCHI: Anti-terrorist squad will probe Kochi beauty parlour case. Presently, the case is being investigated by the Ernakulam crime branch. Underworld don Ravi Pujara is accused in the case. The charge sheet against Ravi Poojara was submitted earlier.
On 2018 December 15, a purported gun attack happened in a beauty parlour-Nail Artistry run by Actress Leena Maria Paul. Two bike riders wielding guns made intermittent gunshots upon the beauty parlour which was functioning on the ground floor of the building. Four days after the attack was held, Ravi Pujara disclosed to a news channel that the attack was held with his knowledge.
Ravi Pujara had tried to exhort Rs 25 crore from Leena Maria Paul one month before the attack. The attackers still remain unknown. Meanwhile, Ravi Pujara was taken into custody on 2019 January 5.
