CHENNAI: Playback Singer S P Balasubramaniam who has been hospitalised since August first week due to COVID 19 is in the path of recovery. His son S P Charan says that he had talked to the doctors and SPB is in a safe state; the veteran singer is also undergoing physiotherapy.

Charan had thanked all who prayed for his recovery in his latest video.

On August 5, SPB himself posted a video on social media, saying that he had tested COVID positive with mild symptoms. He was admitted in MGM hospital in Chennai and the hospital bulletins informed that he was in poor in health condition. He has been in Intensive Care Unit since August 13.
