THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala asked PSC chairman to withdraw the practice of insulting the educated youth. He also demanded that the tenure of the rank lists be extended to at least six months in case of no appointments due to COVID. He hit out at the chief minister in the press meet convened here today.
“The chief minister has lost his mental balance. He is running away from responsibilities. His answer is that neither he nor his office has any connection in the matter. It is a pity to have snubbed even his right-hand media adviser. He denies everything in the gold smuggling and life mission. If you watch the press conference of the chief minister, you will understand that he has lost his mental balance. Even CPI leader Divakaran came to the fore against the action of the PSC chairman.
Chennithala had visited the house of Anu, who committed suicide depressed over cancellation of PSC list. Another person of the family should be given job and financial help should be given, he said.
