THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala asked the government to probe the allegations levelled in the Bengaluru drug smuggling case. Chennithala said the Kerala police is keeping silent as the children of top political leaders are involved in it. The chief minister should announce a probe in the issue, he said.

The allegations levelled by youth league leader P K Firoz against Bineesh Kodiyeri is now taken up the opposition politically. The drug mafia is functioning with the support of the state government, he said.

The statement that ten including Bineesh Kodiyeri had funded Anoop Muhammed was revealed yesterday. In this context, the probe is progressing to states including Kerala. Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi and her husband will appear before the Karnataka central crime branch for interrogation.
