THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actor Srinivasan has come up with harsh criticism against the government. He criticized the government in an interview telecasted on Thiruvonam. He was responding to the Venjarmoodu issue. He said that “today we are going through the worse incidents caused by blind politics”. He also opined that our democracy is in trouble.

Srinivasan harshly criticized the back-door appointments of candidates via PSC. “It is the worst situation wherein candidates are employed on a contract basis with recommendations and later become permanent employees. The gold smuggling case is not important to discuss but this illegal appointments is the prime issue to be discussed.
