THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Despite a steady increase in the number of COVID cases, Kerala has been able to keep the COVID death rate under control because of its well planned and organised efforts, health minister KK Shailaja said on Thursday.
According to the minister, the state had expected a huge speak in COVID cases. However, it was a relief that the surge was lower than what was expected. The minister also added that the public should be cautious and must continue to follow social distancing norms.
