THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police arrested another person involved in the twin murder at Venjaramoodu. Unni, a local leader of INTUC, was nabbed by the police from Madapuram. With this arrest, eight persons have been arrested in the case so far. The police had earlier arrest seven including a woman who assisted the accused to go into hiding.

Political vengeance has been cited as the reason for the murder in the remand report. A deep wound in the heart of both the deceased was the reason for demise. The duo also several other injuries.
