THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As many as 477 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Thiruvananthapuram district on Thursday. Of this, 463 persons contracted the disease through contact. Meanwhile, 426 patients tested negative for the virus on Friday.

As per the official data, there are 5319 active cases in the capital district. So far, the district has reported 16,797 COVID cases.

The capital district reported 3 COVID deaths on Friday. The deceased have been identified as Amaravila native Ravidas (69), Vizhinjam native Sabariyar (65) and Venjarumoodu native Sulaja (56).
