KANNUR: A steel bomb has exploded at Padannakkara in Kannur district on Saturday night. The bomb was found while cleaning a backyard in the region. The bomb exploded after it was thrown into the nearby river by men who did not recognise it. The plot belongs to a person who is settled in Bengaluru. Earlier, two CPM workers were injured in a bomb blast in the district.
