KOZHIKODE: Mar Paul Chittilappally, former bishop of Thamarassery diocese, passed away in a private hospital here after suffering a heart attack. He was 87 years old.

Paul Chittilappally was suffering from age-related ailments. He presided the diocese for 13 years from 1997 February 13.
