THRISSUR: Minister A C Moideen said Anil Akkare MLA is spreading lies in the Life Mission Project in Wadakkanchery. He asked whether the MLA has proof to show that he accepted money.

The minister alleged that the opposition is spreading lies in the Life Mission Project eyeing panchayat polls. A representative who could do nothing in his constituency is hiding his weakness. He was trying to cover up his own weaknesses through such allegations. He said the Life Mission includes local self-governing bodies and the share of the state government.

Anil Akkare had alleged that the minister had received kickbacks in the LIFE Mission apartment project at Wadakkanchery, which is being constructed by Red Crescent. The MLA had asked the minister to reveal the deal signed with Red Crescent and the documents of the ongoing construction worth 20 crore.
