KASARGOD: Three of a family were found dead in Chengala. Mithilaj (50), his wife Sajida (38) and son Sahid (14) of Thaivalappu in Chengala were found dead this morning after consuming poison. Initial reports said it is a case of suicide.

Mithilaj and his wife Sajida were running a tailoring shop in Indira Nagar. Some hinted that they had some financial liabilities, but it was not confirmed. It is not clear whether a suicide note has been recovered or not. The police have started an investigation on it. The bodies have been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.
